Daines Gets Big Endorsement

Bozeman businessman Steve Daines received an endorsement from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce last week for his candidacy to represent Montana in its lone U.S. House seat.

“At no other time in our nation’s history has it been more critical that members of Congress provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community,” Chamber of Commerce CEO Thomas Donohue said.

The Chamber of Commerce endorsed Daines, a Republican, because it believes he is a proven job creator. Daines is the vice president of RightNow Technologies.

“I am honored to be recognized by the Chamber as the pro-jobs candidate in this race,” Daines said. “Montanans understand that Congress needs more job creators who have experience balancing budgets and delivering solutions to tough problems. I’m running to bring that experience to Washington and lead the charge for more jobs, less government”
