BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Steve Daines for U.S. Senate campaign today released a new television ad highlighting Daines’ successful track record of getting results in Congress and fighting for good-paying jobs in Montana.
“Results,” a 30-second spot that will run statewide alongside a companion radio ad released earlier this week, focuses on Daines’ efforts to protect Montana’s timber industry and fight for policies that create thousands of good-paying Montana jobs. Daines was recently ranked the most effective first-term Representative by GovTrack.
“When fringe environmentalists tried locking up our land and our natural resources, I look them on,” states Daines. “Passing legislation to increase timber production, and creating more than six thousand new Montana jobs.”
Daines is working on common sense forest management reforms that protect and strengthen Montana’s timber industry and keep Montana forests healthy. His legislation, H.R. 1526 – the Restoring Healthy Forests for Healthy Communities Act, was passed by the House last year with bipartisan support.
