BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Montana Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of Steve Daines in the race for Montana’s open Senate seat.
“I’m honored to receive the support of the Montana Chamber of Commerce and the thousands of Montana small business owners it serves,” Daines stated. “As someone with 28 years of business experience, I know firsthand what it takes to grow businesses and create jobs. I’m committed to fighting for pro-growth policies that reduce senseless regulatory barriers and allow Montana small businesses to grow, innovate and create good-paying jobs. We need commonsense solutions that lead to more jobs, and less government.”
In its endorsement of Daines, the Montana Chamber noted that Daines’ 28 years in business provide him with the experience needed to “initiate and advance public policy that protects the free market and creates jobs.”
“The Montana Chamber believes that the best way to keep Montana’s economy growing is to get people into office that will pull down barriers to business creation and expansion so that good-paying job opportunities are plentiful across all sectors of the economy,” said Webb Brown, President and CEO of the Montana Chamber.
The Chamber also noted that Daines is a recipient of the U.S. Chamber’s Spirit of Enterprise Award and was recognized by GovTrack as the most effective first-term Congressman in the 113th Congress for moving bills through committee.
