KULR News: Freedom Rally Draws a Large Crowd For Steve Daines

As we draw closer to election night, candidates are making some last-minute campaign stops throughout the Treasure State.

Tuesday, Congressman Steve Daines was joined by Attorney General Tim Fox, House Candidate Ryan Zinke, and a well-known retired neurosurgeon, for a Freedom Rally at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center.

Topics ranged from the Keystone Pipeline to the problems with ISIS, and the Ebola Virus.

Congressman Daines emphasized government reductions and the creation of more jobs.

The importance of education was mentioned, and so was helping people become problem-solvers, instead of depending on government handouts to help the country grow.

“We need more men and women who solve problems instead of just win arguments. there’s too much of the back and forth bickering in Washington. it’s time to focus and move forward here in creating more jobs and a more efficient and effective government,” says Congressman Daines.

Author and retired neurosurgeon, Dr. Ben Carson, spoke at the event Tuesday.

He is rumored to be making a run at the presidency in 2016.
